Meet Trish Skinner
Hello! And thanks for visiting my site! I’m Trish Skinner,
recently retired from twenty years in the Navy and the mother
of two precious children, Alexander, 14 years old and
Zahara, 2 years. As you can see, I have all the children
I need from A to Z.
Having a second child 12 years after the first and being retired has given
me the opportunity to take part in all the wonderful changes and growth in my
daughter that I wasn’t able to see with my son. With that in mind, I knew I
wanted to take a bigger part in her pre-school education. Thus I started
researching different subjects about child education.
I became an Independent Certified Instructor in July of 2005 after reading about
Linda Acredolo and Susan Goodwyn’s incredible two decade research and success
with the use of sign language in infants and toddlers! As a former veteran instructor
in several areas, I knew this would be a wonderful challenge in my life. Teaching
pint size students! Not to mention a wonderful bonding experience with Zahara.
It has proven to be a grand adventure with lots of exciting opportunities to
provide a beneficial service to parents, day care providers and children. Along
with BeeBo™ the Baby Signs® Bear, we’ve met some wonderful people and made
quite a few new friends along the way!
At the moment, I offer classes in the Bremerton, Port Orchard, Silverdale, Poulsbo
